What is MBQIP?
MBQIP is the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project — a quality improvement initiative under the federal Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) program, run by HRSA’s Federal Office of Rural Health Policy. Critical Access Hospitals join through their state Flex program, report quality data across five measure domains, and use that data to improve care.
